Bhupesh came up with this idea and since we don’t have enough time and patience to launch a full scale website for this purpose, we're introducing a simple utility here, making use of Google Docs. If you wish to sell of your membership enter the details here and in case you are looking forward to buy a used membership you can contact any members who have listed their membership for sale here or make a new entry stating your requirements.
Request: Now that we have good number of entries, I request new visitors to try to make use of existing entries instead of making a new one. Say you’re trying to sell off your membership, then look under the tab “BUY” where those willing to buy a membership have posted their requirements. Similarly if you wish to buy, check with the existing entries under "SELL" where people have put details of their membership that is on sale. If you can close deal with any of them it will be good for both. If you don’t find any suitable entry that suits your needs, then please go ahead and make your own entry

Most of the timeshare companies do not give a provision in their website where members can put their membership for sale. Most of the classified sections are also ineffective in this regard. Since this site was attracting lots of visitors searching for Club Mahindra related info, we felt it will be a good idea to provide a platform for prospective buyers and sellers to interact.
Note: 1. We're only providing a platform where you can express your desire to sell your membership or intention to buy one. 2. We're not involved in any way and do not guarantee a sale. 3. Total membership cost: Rs. 1,24,324/- (cost me 1,51,921/- since I opted for 3 years EMI payment)
Amount paid so far: Rs. 44,563/- (18,649/- upfront and 7 EMIs of 3702/- each)
Amount expecting: Rs. 22,000/- (less than half of what I've paid till now. You can continue paying the remaining EMIs at 3702/- per month)
Reason for sale: Just bought an apartment for 44 Lacks. Now paying the home loan EMI through my nose, I'm not in a position/mood to continue paying for future holidays.

Excellent insights into the functioning of Mahindra "Holidaying".
Their "resort"in Ashtamudi has only hotel units - no dry kitchen facilities. They are short changing on amenities. What I am saying is that in many of their resorts, they are building hotel type rooms - why on earth should we book 25 years in advance for this?

Quite a valid concern.
At this point, your best option will be to drop an email and ask them if they are still open to buy/sell whatever they have listed. If they respond, proceed with negotiation else ignore them.
May be we'll bring in some rules like old entries will be deleted after 6 months or something like that, that way recent entries will be on top and get higher visibility.

Some member advice canceling/blocking Credit Card so that while your cancellation request is in process they can not bill further amount on your card.
You can cancel your membership with in 10 day (do count Sunday/Saturday also). Give a written request to the center from where your bought it. Do not forget to take acknowledgment ...

Second sale market in Club membership is not that liquid, before you get a buyer for your membership, you may end-up paying more EMIs.
I think best way is to ask (convince) ClubMahindra to cancel your membership .. as you have shot free look up period by only 2 days (based on 10 day number, what I remember), batter call their call center and ask if free look up period is 10 days or two weeks.
I knw the period is ten days...but not sure whether its 10 days from signing up or ten days from the day i get my membership id. I'v read ppl's comments that these ppl do not refund the money even if u cancel the membership within 10 days... i think, my hard earned money is gone :( and i wonder how bad these CM ppl are...they dnt tell about their cancellation policy while signing up...and obviously...
For a 25 years commitment involving several lakhs of rupees, cancellation duration of just 10 days is very very less.
I think it is 10 days from the date of realization of downpayment. Membership ID and documents will take their own time to arrive and obviously the cancellation period of 10 days would lapse before member gets full picture of the membership.
Read Question 9 in this post for what CM official had to say about their cancellation policy.
Just think how much a person will save when he buys your membership and why he will buy only yours among so many listed there.
In my opinion there are not many options, except what I and other people have written above, if that works (It has worked for many for sure)! Best of Luck!

The mail ids are genuine but are meant for general feedback and escalations. Don't think there's a dedicated ID for cancellations.
Hope the escalation should help-Bhupesh might be able to suggest better.
