Posting some more photos taken in recent past.
1 A tribute to MJ?
An image of Michel Jackson was being made with pieces of black and white cloths at City Center last Saturday.
2.What happens when you let loose a van full of photographers to shoot sunrise on an early morning? Everyone trying their best with varying angles, views, settings... Clicked a month ago during Chitradurga trip.
3.A group photo of organizers and volunteers at CII Connect 2009 Conference which concluded recently at Chennai. I contributed there as official blogger.
4 Infosys MD K Gopalkrishan (right) releasing Kiruba Shankar (left)'s new book: "Wikipedia: A beginner's guide". Book launch happened during the Connect2009 conference and I got an autographed copy later in the day.
(Note: Above 2 photos of Connect2009 are by Balakrishnan.)
5 Statue of someone (if you can identify this person pls comment) being downloaded from truck, assumably for installation close by-spotted on RK Salai this Sunday. Some more statues still standing inside, waiting for their destination.
Update: It is the statue of C.N.Annadurai (Thanks to Hari and Ram)
6. Two photos of Vanivilas Dam (click to enlarge)
Some more random photos * Sony DSC H50 Camera review * Chennai Roadies * Advantages of starting early *

The second one is my pick of the lot!
ReplyDeletePanoramic view of vanivilas dam is good. Where is it Shrinidhi?
ReplyDeleteMridula,
ReplyDeleteI guessed it...
Mohan, it is not a panoramic view-just two independent photos..
Nice post. It is always good to see people expressing themselves in different ways.
ReplyDeleteSince you seem to be associated with Management, I would like to suggest you a new magazine - PEOPLE MATTERS started by an ISB Alumni, which was suggested to me by a friend and which I have found very useful.
It deals with various important aspects of management, especially those related to Leadership & People Management.
It's also relatively cheap. I guess its annual subscription is about Rs. 400 (US$ 8 approx) which is even less than the cost of a standard Pizza.
Their last issue had an enlightening article by Robert Kaplan (the co-founder of Balanced Scorecard method, if you remember) where he talks about how organisations can create opportunities out of current economic downturn.
I got its subscription online through their website: http://www.peoplematters.in
If you like the magazine, kindly refer it to your friends or colleagues in the organization you work. They may be interested in subscribing to it.
Thanks
I THINK the statue is of C.N.Annadurai former tamil nadu CM.
ReplyDeleteHari, thanks for that input. Another friend of mine also said the same thing. Updating the post with credit.
