SWF: Sunrise at Hebbal lake Bangalore

Hebbal lake was one place in Bengaluru that I'd not explored. Made a visit last Sunday early morning. Thanks Shande for joining me while other lazy-to-get-up-at-5-am friends missing these beautiful scenes.

Earlier, visitors could walk all around the lake, but now the entry is restricted to a small stretch, reportedly because of illegal activities that used to take place near the lake. (Banning entry is the only solution our authorities come up with, every time something goes wrong- someone commits suicide, ban entry, someone does something illegal, ban entry...)

Anyways, it was great experience watching the sunrise. Rising sun's reflection in the lake water gave some visually pleasing shots. Sharing them with you below

  10. Governments seem to have the same sickness the world over. Some stupid mother yacks away on her mobile while leaving her baby in a pusher on a sloping path by the river. Big surprise, the child is gone by the time she has finished her phone call and she screams that someone has stolen her baby! Instead of being punished for negligence, they want to fence the river!!!

Beautiful sunrise, well worth getting up for.
