My travel year 2017 in review! - eNidhi India Travel Blog

My travel year 2017 in review!

I had a decent year. Didn't have to cancel any trips, managed a bit of travel almost every month and wrote about 220+ blogposts (averaging 2 posts every 3 days, but most are small posts) This is how my year 2017 was.
Above: A map depicting my travel in 2017- read here to know how to create one for yourself.

Quick Summary:
Monthly breakup!

January: Philippines
Visited Hexa Experience in Chennai. The video I made of Hexa's Offroad abilities has crossed 3 lakh views on Youtube.

First trip of the year and first visit to the Philippines. Made short visits to Manila, Cebu and Palawan. A lot has changed in past 1 year- There're more direct flights now between the islands in Philippines. Definitely warrants another visit, Boracay, El Nido and other parts I should try to explore on next visit. Read all my Philippines post here

June: Coimbatore, Kerala-Silent Valley, Mysuru-GRS Fantasy Park
Flew into Coimbatore with a cheap spicejet ticket booked an year ago, drove across the border to Kerala to visit Silent Valley- was a good experience visiting this lesser known gem in Kerala. Visited few other hills on our way back, like this one.

August- Wayanad, Phuket Thailand
Visited Phuket in Thailand for the first time-hadn't been to this part of Thailand in earlier trips. A week well spent, including a night at Phi Phi. Rode around on a rented bike, which helped keep cost under check.
End of the month we had a bike trip to Wayanad, organized by ONN Bikes, ScoutMyTrip and Wandertrails. 3 days well spent with blogger and biker friends.

September- Coimbatore, Kerala border, Vietnam
Another trip to Coimbatore, on work + the weekend for myself- rode around coconut farms and other places on a rented bike.

First visit to Vietnam- Saigon, Hanoi and nearby areas. One week is just not enough- I should visit one more time and explore more interior towns. Read all Vietnam posts here.
October- Home town visit, did some biking around- visited Kavaledurga fort and few other places

November: Bali, Indonesia
Bali on invitation from Indonesia Tourism and Malindo air. My second visit- was very short (got only 2 full days in Bali) but a great experience with the company of wonderful bloggers. Had nice luxury stay in Padma Ubud and Montigo Resort, did some ATV Adventure and visited an island. Read all Bali posts here.

December- Bengaluru, Chennai
No major travel in December, except a trip to BLR where I tried Volvo S60 and Maserati Ghibli. Did some rides around Chennai otherwise nothing significant. Everyone travels in December and everything is expensive, so it suits me to relax and rewind a bit.

  4. You travelled a lot ! And had an amazing year. :)

If not travel, you'd become an automobile blogger.

One thing I like about you is that you can write honestly about things around you and that too almost everyday, albeit smaller posts. My average is once a week which I'm maintaining since many years now.

We should try to travel together this year. It's been time.
